  6. Lucky girl-there are some nice places in the Merchant City-The Bothy in the West End is very good too-depends what you like and where in Glasgow you want to go I guess.

Wherever you go have a nice night.

Merry Christmas to you and your fiancee. :-)

  7. Depends what you want to eat - My fiancee and I have a favourite, and we've been to tons of restaurants - It's called Barbarossa, it's on Clarkston Road in Cathcart (South side), just up from Morrisons in Muirend.  They serve mediterranean food, the menu is simple and small but absolutely everything on it is exquisite.  It's very romantic, the owner is a wee Italian guy called Enzo and he greets everyone at the door.  You can see into the kitchen if you get a seat round the front and its amazing to see the chefs, they are very good at what they do.  Expect to pay £40 - £50 each max.  There is also a pre theatre type of thing they do which is more affordable, but the food - the main attraction -is still just as great.  The service is first class and the waitresses are hot. :)

If you want Chinese, the best in Glasgow is the Loon Fung, on Sauchiehall St, near the Garage.  All the Chinese people eat there and they have an extensive range of dim sum plus the normal stuff.

Alternatively the Cathay Cuisine in Rouken Glen Park is excellent.

A good Indian is the Turban tandoori, next to Giffnock Library and train station, off Fenwick Rd (South side).  It's nice and romantic with little booths to sit in and the food is good.

  8. indian quay at the squinty bridge is really good.

  9. Rogano's, if you like seafood, and can afford it.
