Good Restaurants for celebrating a birthday in Bournemouth?

A group of 12 of us will be celebrating a birthday in Bournemouth in a couple of weekends. We are planning to go out for a meal on the saturday night and was wondering where could be recomended in the town center. We were thinking of either chinese, indian, or italian, and somewhere they would provide baloons/decorations on the table if possible. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

ASK restaurant are good for things like that. You might have to take the balloons & decorations yourself but they will help you sort it out. They do Italian food & are fairly central as they are by the Lansdown roundabout.

There is another resturant just next to Yates' pub that does very good food & last time I was in there there was a hen party with decorations & things, can't remember the name of though.

"Coriander" good - its in one of those roads just off the main square. Tex-Mex food. If you eat upstairs they will make all the arrangements for you, but Book. Have a great night.

I havent lived in Bournemouth for a few years so a bit stuck for something to recommend, sorry!

When I am back I eat in Frankie and Bennys. Nice menu, cool 50s vibe and they decorate tables if you ask.

They'll also play Cliff Richard's "con-grat-u-la-tions" and sing Happy Birthday. Surely you can't beat that? lol

i dont live in bournmouth but have relatives  there the best meal out ive had there when visiting is in a place called coriander, very good food and friendly staff.

Check out La Strada, its a quaint little Italian on Exeter Rd, which caters for special occasions, etc. If interested you have to book well in advance because the restaurant gets very busy, especially on a Saturday night. Have fun.
