I need it for an individual study in year 12 drama.

I will present it 3 ways.

Any Ideas?

If not Shakespeare, then something similar?

  1. A quick google and I think I might've found what you're looking for:

  2. I like Cordelia's speech in act one, scene one of 'King Lear'.

She is diplomatic but keeps her ground. Trying to tell her father that, by not exaggerating her love in order to gain favour like her sisters do, she's done nothing wrong.

If you want someone with a bit more inner turmoil then perhaps Lady Macbeth's speech before Duncan arrives where she's torn between her plan to have Duncan done away with and her realisation that it's a bit wrong to kill people...

    Good luck with it all!
