  1. Some of the "good brands" to consider in no particular order:

Gnu, Lib Tech, Rome, Ride, Sapient, Option, Nitro, Forum.

  2. Burton and K2

    Those are my favorite.

  3. Ride, Rome, Lib Tech, Gnu, Forum, Burton are a few off the top of my head.

Burton is a good brand, but don't listen to people who just assume its the best.  There are other brands out there that are just as good.  People just say that because they don't know much about snowboarding and Burton is the most famous.

  4. In my opinion, the following companies make the best snoboard:

    Nitro

    Rome

    Burton

    Forum

    Ride

    O-matic

    Lib tech

    Salomon

and DC is coming out with boards next year, i suggest giving them a try.  Buy a board from a company that you trust the most.  To narrow it down even farther I like Burton nitro and forum.  I think all three make extremely good freestyle boards, but burton makes better freeride and pow boards than the other two (they also offer a split)

good luk and a hav fun with the riding

    remember its your call

  5. The TOP brands would be forum, Flow, and Burton.

The forum boards are smooth on the snow and are great, they are good for beginners and experts!

  6. lamar and morrow and atonic are bad and good are and forum, o-matic, gnu, lib tech,5150,burton,rossi, and dc are making some boards

  7. Always go with BURTON.... when it comes to buying a snowboard, no one makes a better quality board than Burton. Forum (who was bought by burton) as well makes a good board. Ride, and Soloman are not too shabby.
