Good Soul Food in Kentucky?????

Okay myself along with several friends want to go to a nice soul food resturant here in Ky, we all live in the Louisville area and have googled many places but they don't offer an online menu or even a discription of their food or reviews form customers. Any ideas anyone??? Serious answers only please.. and nothing about KFC....... that's such c**p! 10 pointsto the person whom offers the best idea or knows the best place to taste the south!

I am not joking, Popeyes Chicken and Biscuits.  We only had 2 in Lex and they both closed.  Loved their mashed potatoes...and the beans-n-rice...and the chicken...and the po'boys...and, oh well, everything!

I have a friend who is a native of Louisville, he loves Indi's Fast Food Restaurant.

claudia sanders is the wife of Col. Sanders, but she has her own rest. in shelbyville ky... the rolls are amazing.

also there is a little mom and pop rest on eastern parkway called the cottage. home cooked meals. :)

then there is an old train station turned into a rest. in GLendale ky called the Whistle stop... my favorite.. just past etown on 65. they have amazing chicken and dumplings, and you have to get the chocolate pie, its to die for!!!!
