Question:

Good Spaghetti Sauce Recipe?

I'm cooking dinner for my boyfriend, myself, and my family tonight, and none of the boys like chunks in their spaghetti sauce. Does anyone have a good recipe for sauce that is chunk-free?

  1. 2 large cans of tomato sauce, one itty bitty can of tomato paste. A teaspoon or two of sugar, and whatever spices you like. Let it simmer for at least an hour. Enjoy.

  2. Do what saim says and pick up a jar of Italian seasoning the season isle at the store and season to taste a little at a time and it will be perfect good luck Oh yeah put in a littlte of brown sugar instead of white.

  3. Find any recipe that looks good to you, and just use crushed tomatoes (tomato puree) instead of diced canned tomatoes.

You can also "puree" any seasoning veggies in the food processor (onions, celery, carrots) then saute them in EVOO.... they will fall apart in the sauce, giving great flavor w/o chunks.
