I'm looking for a good travel agent to book a cruise with but have no idea where to start looking. Can anyone recommend someone they have used in the past with a website? Please no advertisements for The Cruise Authority as i've already looked on there. Thank you!!!

  1. buy driect from the cruise line u get better deals and can book you shore exchersens all at once that is what i always do every year

  2. Well, the agent I used for my past 3 cruises is a cruise specialist. He works at www.bestcruisespot.com and the website is pretty user-friendly. Just visit the website and look for the contact information to give the company a call. If you want, you can ask for my agent. His name is Eric. He can recommend you some great cruise deals plus travel insurance.

  3. I recommend Cruise Planners at 888-286-9827 (www.mycruiseplanner.net).  They represent all CLIA member lines, very knowledgeable, don't charge any service fees, and offer the same deals as the online sites and the cruise lines.

  4. If you would like a place to go and check on cruises without an agent try vacationstogo.com.  They have discounted deals, you can pick from ports to leave and arrive, and many other details.

  5. I use Mr. Gordon from Gordon's Travel he one of the best travel Agents I've ever had. He specializes in Cheap Travel and has years of cruise experience under his belt he gets you exactly what you want.

His number is 808-375-3922 I would suggest have a pen, writing pad and a computer that hooked up to the internet read if your gonna speak to him. He likes to show you exactly what is out there for you and your price range.

Also there is a very helpful website that allows you to do it all on your own and has very detail descriptions of the cruises. That site is www.ytbtravel.com/gordonsa

    good luck with your search

  6. Just as you should go to a surgeon instead of your family doctor to have an operation, you should go to a cruise specialist instead of an all purpose travel agency.  A cruise specialist will talk with you and find out your interests, expectations and budget, and the will suggest a cruise that is the best for you.  It doesn't cost you any more for these services and usually provides a much better value as the cruise is selected with you in mind.  The cruise specialist wants your repeat business and wants you to tell others about the service you received, so they will go above and beyond to make sure that you will have the best choice for you. Most cruise lines can give an enjoyable experience.  Most ports are interesting.  There is so much more to consider that you really need so speak in person with a specialist.  Yes, I am a cruise specialist, but what I have said applies to most professions.

  7. I always book through a Personal Vacation Planner at Carnival.  He always gets me a better price than any of the discount cruise sites I have looked at. And I have always gotten upgrades from him, even after I was booked.  He also guarantees the price.  If it goes down before the final payment is due, he gets me that price.  Same with free upgrades.  If an upgrade comes along, I also get that, too.  He has even combined free upgrades with past guest promos on the same trip.

In fact, he got me a seven day cruise for $400 each, including fees.  Can't beat that.
