  1. Blue Bloods series by Melissa De La Cruz. it's similar to twilight, just as addicting but shorter length

    *obsessed*

i also heard Maximum Ride is a good book to check out, idk i just got it.

  2. Generally, 'Interview With The Vampire' and the rest of the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice are considered to be the best modern vampire novels. I definitely think you should read those.

I've heard the Anita Blake series is good as well (at least in the beginning), and the Southern Vampire series.

If you like vampire stories in general, why not try go for Dracula?

  3. As well as everyone else, I have to recommend Blue Bloods. Excellent book. It's almost a mix of the Clique novels and an Anne Rice novel.

I also really liked The Blue Girl by Charles de Lint. Very punk/goth with a splash of hippie elements.

Another one I really loved is Gothic! the collection of short stories edited by Deborah Noyes. The final story, Endings by Garth Nix is one of my favorite short stories ever!

Speaking of short stories, both Skin by Roald Dahl and Across The Wall by Garth Nix are excellent collections. However, to understand the first (and largest) story in the book, you'll need to read The Old Kingdom trilogy (Sabriel, Lirael, and Abhorsen), which I also recommend.

If you run out of books to read feel free to email me for an update of this list. Best of luck!

  4. Dracula by Bram Stoker

    Salem's Lot by Stephen King

Try Edgar Allan Poe and H.P. Lovecraft. I believe their writing is Goth.

  5. wow, you pretty much read every teen vampire book. When I finish with the Twilight series, vampire kisses, and the chronicles of vladimir tod. I moved on to anne rice. Its not as easy to read as those teen books. but its rly good and I think you'd like em (watch the movie my interview with a vampire) then read them...or atleast that what I did.

btw i also liked a great and terrible beauty series :]]

oh and personally I didn't like blue bloods. but other people seemed to like it so if u wanna read it go for it ^_^

  6. I'd really recommend  Dan Simmons' "Children of the Night" and Stephen King's "Salem's Lot". Also Simon Clark's "Vampyrrhic".

Also, a bit offbeat but the great graphic novel Preacher has a vampire as a main character and is being vaunted as a possible new TV or film series...

    Shouldn't you be learning though....

  7. Oh my goth by Genna showalter

  8. Vampire Academy

    Vampire Diaries

    Blue Bloods

    All Good Books:)
