Good Video Editing Software for Mac 0S X?

Question

I want to be able to get video off of a DVD and edit it it and put it to music (like all those fa videos on Youtube lol)

Can someone tell me good FREE software that I could use? Does my Mac have anything I could do this with?

You just need to convert your DVD to MP4 or MOV video, then you can edit it with iMovie. If you don't know how to get video off DVD, here is a step by step guide for you, it works pretty well for me
