I'm really interested in playing acoustic guitar. But since I don't know much about guitars I was just wondering if one of you guys could show me a decent one for beginners that I could order. Either through amazon or something else. I'm interested in all of your answers, so don't hold back.

  2. For an acoustic guitar for beginners, I'd recommend the Yamaha FG700s. It's around $200 but it's one of the best guitars out there for the price. I would recommend against buying a starter pack, as the guitars in there are generally of horrible quality, while the extras are usually not needed. Especially for an acoustic guitar, I would just get the guitar and a case, not a gig bag as it will cause humidity problems with your guitar. Do NOT buy online as you cannot feel the guitar for yourself. Every guitar is built differently and you will want to test out the action and setup for yourself. Go to a store such as Guitar Center and bring a friend along if possible. You can have the store set up your guitar for free if anything feels out of place.

    Good luck and happy playing!

  3. all guitars are good theirs no specific good guitar get a merfy or a fender!hope i helped

  4. There's really no one guitar thats good for a beginner.  Just as long as you can afford it, and you practice it, then its good!  As long as its in one piece and is playable, its all good.  Don't fuss about brand names until you've gotten some practice under your belt.

That said, I would go with a beginner package.  You can buy packages that come with a guitar, an amp (if you're going the electric route), case/gig bag, strap etc.

  5. you can visit http://electricaffair.com/ to look for some affordable guitars.
