The earlier you start your scholarship search the better chances you have at finding out what is out there.

There are definitely going to be more scholarships available for high school seniors heading to college compared to a student who just started his/her freshman year of high school. But if you start early enough then you will get visibility to what scholarships are available and what the criteria or requirements are needed. This gives you an edge because you can work towards fulfilling the criteria or requirements that you are missing.
