  1. Those subs may not have the best power handling. But, they are good quality and price. If this is your first build, you won't be disappointed. You don't need thousands of watts to have a good, loud system. Especially not in a daily driver.

I would look for an amp that is 300 watts at 2 ohms mono. For a good starter. Look for one like this. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6521...

300 watts at 2 ohms. Built in subsonic filter, and crossover. Those are the best things to look for in an amp for a simple set up.

  2. If I were you I would look into a different sub since that sub is only 150 watts RMS, peak wattage means absolutley nothing. That sub is not even worth $35. Check out this company since your obviously on a budget:

  3. A kicker zx300.1 for each sub.

  4. Listen to Jmann...george is bias...he is all about elemental designs and instead of answering questions,he is always pushing or marketing his brand of choice...which are good quality, but that fact does not answer your question....but the subs you chose are fine for a starter system....once you have them awhile, you will eventually want to upgrade...by then, you may look into higher end audio
