  1. The good parts are in theNorth side and there are plenty of suburbs and family oriented communities.

They worser areas are East Austin andSouth Austin, but they're not that bad though.

  2. While Northeast and East Austin do have some hidden gems, the overwhelming majority of these neighborhoods are bad (high rates of poverty, homelessness, crime, pollution, etc.).

North, Northwest, and Central Austin neighborhoods are typically much nicer than those mentioned above, but the crime rates in these areas are some of the highest in the city.

South and Southwest Austin are two of the safest options in town. These parts of Austin are also more diverse, offer more of the Austin culture/community vibe, and have more options for affordable housing.

West Austin is another safe part of town, but because of the cost of living there and difference in attitude, I wouldn't really recommend it.

    Good luck on your move!

  3. The town doesn't have good and bad parts.  Just Ninja sections and Pirate sections.  East and South Austin is Pirate country.  North and West is Ninja territory.  The two sides do battle in downtown Austin.

  4. The whole play is a **** hole!

  5. Here's a sentence I thought I would never say. I agree with Poopie. Now Ben on the other hand is an idiot. Austin is an amazing place to live. I love the live music :-D
