Good and bad things about Magazines?

Its for my english coursework so I need some help plz?

Lots Of Magazines Have Models In There That Are Basically Anorexic And Are Able To Wear "fashionable" clothes because theres nothing on their bodies and if someone sees something they like they may crash diet to become anorexic to wear that item of clothing, along side of looking bloody awful it could seriosly damage peoples health. Sometimes magazines twist words even though you aint noticing it they are literaly making you buy things which means you could go bankrupt another example of this is when your at the cinema even though you dont notice people sometimes flash pictures of deserts up which refers to thirst which makes you want to buy drinks great for the companies but not good for your wallet. There is also something I read on the internet someone put a real life story in the magazine and obviously so depressing people killed themselves, bizarre but it happens.

However good things you can catch up on things that are happening in the celeb world. The fashion trends that you can actually get a size 8 plus in to keep up with the latest looks.

Glossy fashion and celebrity magazines turn women into idiots. You could probably get ten thousand words out of that.

Bad: Make people think they have to live up to certain expectations to be accepted.

Also, depends on what type of magazines you are talking about; sport, teen, music, women's, men's....
