Good anime T.V show to watch?

Question

Whats a really good ainme t.v show I can watch? I only like certain types. My favorites are Avatar, Naruto, and Inuyhasha. Are there any really similar to those? With a summary please. And don't say Bleach because I tried to watch it and couldn't get into it. I also like them to be sad and have a deep storyline. I like the movies Grave of Fireflies and Spirited Away, if that helps
