Good area's and business oppertunities in new zealand?

ok every body come on you gotta help me out ,i'm hoping to move out to new zealand on a business visa, so me and my wife can either buy or set up a small business for ourselves, nothing flash or big , something to just make a good living, a cafe ,lunch bar ,or something like that, any does or dont's or places to avoid, iv'e worked in new zealand several times ,but obviously have not been everywhere, be great to hear from anybody ,been a slaughterman /shearer all my working life, if thats any help

  1. OK, as a slaughterman/shearer there would be work available at many abattoirs (freezing Works) in Hawke Bay which has a lot of sheep stations and shearers are in short suppy always. Hawke Bay, being a wine area also has many cafes & wine bars, cellar doors etc. which offer good jobs. This also applies in Marlborough & there, many vacancies exist for vineyard workers. I would recommend that you look at these possibilities. I will try to think of more & might get back to you later.
