I'm currently going to High School in small town, AR. But.. me, my twin sister have decided that after we grauate we want to move to the Bosto area. We haven't decided if we want to go to college.. mainly bc we are doubting out ability to go to school and work enough to maintain enough money to support ourselves. We both want to go into real estate.. which doesn't require college.. but what i was wondering is how do people without a college education do for a living there.. that would supply them with the suffiecient ( ALOT ) amount of money it takes to live there? Where i come from you can rent a 3 bedroom house for 500$. While i've learned that you can rent a 1 MAYBE 2 bedroom house in the boston area for nearly a THOUAND. I'm assuming that means all jobs are going to pay more for the same work? Basically what i need to know is what area (close to if not boston) should i look into living? And also what side job to do while i take buisness and real estate classes? Thanks so much! :)

  1. I doubt that you are going to find any place that you will make A LOT (as you call it) of money without a college degree. Your assumption that ALL jobs will pay more is incorrect. You would be lucky to find a 2 bedroom house in the Boston MA area for $1000 a month. My suggestion for anyone who is considering moving to an area is that you plan a vacation and go to the area for 2 weeks. Just drive around and really LOOK at the area. Another thing you could do is log onto Boston or other MA Craigslist sites and get a better understanding of available jobs and housing. Read MA newspapers online. Do your homework before you move anywhere. Final note, real estate is not the place to look for work right now. Too many realtors with nothing selling.
