Good auditioning song?????????????

Whats a good song to audition with i have no idea which song to sing, umm Im gunna try out for the wizard of oz in hopes to be dorothy

If you can sing "Over the Rainbow" flawlessly (as in blow them away) you should definitely go for that.  They will be looking for a Dorothy that can kick behind on that song.

If you are a soprano sing a song like"I feel Pretty" from west side story

or "I could have danced all night" from my fair lady.

If you are an alto sing a song like "My funny Valentine" from Babes in arms.

These are songs that really show off how well you can sing. Remember to sing loudly and smile.
