We're going to have twins, a boy and a girl, and we're trying to think of cute matching names, any ideas?

Oh my god. Corey and Topenga would be so awesome! They'd officially be the coolest kids ever...everyone loves Boy Meets World! Seriously. Name them Corey and Topenga! I also REALLY like Harry and Sally - they're simple, but they never really get old.

corey and topanga are so last decade so is Harry and Sally.   Not to mention harry and sally are common names that you see everyday.  but corey and topanga.... what is this blast back to the past trying to revive a dead and stupid show?

Trust me, certain names are made fun of.  I know.  I was named 20 years before laVern and Shirley, but I still get kidded because Lavern is Penny, and well I can't get away from the kidding because my name and nick name are her.

As half of a set of twins, please don't name them anything related.  They'll kill you once they figure why everyone's teasing them.  Also, don't do names that start with the same letter.  It's cute, sure, but gets confusing later on.

My favorite way of coming up with cute matching names is finding twin names that coordinate in meaning or style.  I don't like names that match in sound or have an obvious cultural reference to a couple (especially a romantic couple... eew).

A few ideas:

Andreas and Charlotte (both mean "man")

Julius and Corinna (mean "downy-bearded youth" and "maiden")

Cyrus and Luna (mean "sun" and "moon")

Oliver and Faye (mean "elf army" and "fairy")

Kenneth and Bella (mean "handsome" and "beautiful")

Gavin and Lark (mean "white hawk" and "lark")

Anders and Greta (both Swedish names)

Sebastien and Eloise (both French names)
