Question:

Good baseball workout for myself??

I'm 5'11, 180 pounds, and im in average/above average shape. I play AA ball this summer, but i would like to improve to try and make the AAA team this fall. I dont feel like im very far away from making the team (i play against them this year), but i feel if i workout from now until early October, that will put me over the top. Im not sure what kinda stuff to do that will get me in better "AAA" shape, so a workout plan would be appreciated. Also, i have a bench, with 80 pounds of weights, and i play first base and pitch.

  1. lift weights so your arms become more muscular. Also do alot of cardio. Like running, sprints. and eat healthy.. A good thing to do is stretch alot.. because when you play ball your body has to bend and reach at so many angles. if you work on your stretching your body will become more flexible and less likely to get injured.
