Good basketball workout by yourself?

I've been playing basketball for about 4 years, mostly for fun, but I practice a lot afterschool and such. I am thinking of trying out this winter for my school's team, b/c a lot of my friends say I'm pretty good. What is a good b-ball workout I can do by myself that would improve my skills - mostly jump shooting.

Notes: I've never played organized b-ball (like in a league), I'm about 5'9", want to play PG.

  1. take 20 shots from each spot every day.


  2. jerking off it really builds the arm muscles lol jk yeah shoot the ball haha

  3. Ok first take as many shots as you can from everywere not just one place.  

    Also dribble around whatever you are playing on like go around the court or driveway 5 times using one hand oh and make sure to practice with wich ever hand you are not comfotable because if you whant to be a pg you need to be a great dribbler.
