Anyone know any? Not Cannes or St tropez cause they are too expensive!! I am looking for somewhere for our honeymoon but I don't know anywhere and Expedia brings up a baffling array of options!!

  1. Biarritz at the atlantic ocean (= south of France). And good waves for surfing in Hosegor (100 kilometres north of Biarritz).

Really cool waves in the morning.

Good if you are surfer !!!

For partying/clubbing better Antibe, many british there (with cheesy skin :) ).

  2. St Jean De Luz bottom left hand side of France on the coast we sailed to Santander and drove back into France.

Its a lovely fishing port with a fantastic beach, great shopping area and loads of bars and restaurants.

  3. try antibes its near nice

  4. iwould suggest to go to the Var St raphael for exemple, it is a lot cheapper than Cannes or St tropez but still not to far to go for a day trip, there is plenty of things to see there.

    Enjoy !

  5. If you mean the Riviera by South of France, I'd recommend you Villefranche-sur-Mer, Eze or Théoule, Agay, Le Trayas. They are little magnificent spots. You can arrange your travel yourself with a low-cost carrier and then choose a hotel by searching on google 'hotel + name of the city above'. They are all reachable by trains and not far from cities (but quiet places though).

As for the Atlantic Ocean, the Basque region is pretty especially small resorts like Guétary (not sure of the spelling).

And if you want to be closer to Spain, you can choose Banyuls and Collioure.

  6. yes this very nice place Rowleath end house ,phone number is (017480)4886321, heres the address low rw richmnd dL11 6py have a great honeymoon lol dont be too noisy .

  7. On the Atlantic side, as on the mediterranean side you have lots of choice. I really enjoyed Guethari, near St Jean de Luz, it's very nice. On the mediterranea, I liked Collioure, it's full of artists, a very busy town. If you don't fear mosquitoes, then try the Camargue region, south of Arles it has kept some wilderness...

Mind that July and August are dead busy whereas september is quieter and still nice and sunny, with cooler night though.
