Good beginning snowboarding is So Cal??

Question

I am looking for some really good beginning snow boarding places in So Cal? Maybe Bear Mountain or surrounding areas... I think word of mouth is the best thing for these. Looking for a whole package for rentals and maybe an hour lesson or such for me and my son.... Something not too expensive but please send info on how you found it so I can look it up.

i recommend visiting a sports store like sports chalet or chicks. i bought mine at chicks for a GREAT price. most boards and other sportswear are on sale.

i visited Chicks Sporting Goods in Ladera Ranch. if thats too far away, try a sports chalet, theyre discounted too
