  1. how about "think for yourself and don't follow this fairy tale".

but "free thought" and religion don't exactly mesh now do they?

  2. I agree...1 Cor. 13, Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, Ecclesiastes 7:1-7, Matthew 7:7-13, Matthew 18:15-21, 1 John 3:11-25, and the "A Time for Everything" verse....sorry, I don't know where that is, but it's a great one!

  3. There really isn't much in the Bible that gives women strenghth. It's a male-oriented book with bigotry and hate in it, such as:

    Titus 2:4-5

    1 Peter 3:1, 3:7

    1 Corinthians 11:3

There's tons of stuff that's anti-woman. Not much in it that says good things about them.

  4. Leviticus 20

  5. 1 Corinthians 13.

  6. Song of Solomon. Delve deeply into the metaphors.

  7. If you can perhaps pick up a copy of the book 'Captivating' by Staci Eldredge, it talks of how women, too, were created in the image of God, and the characteristics of God they possess. =)

  8. The books Ruth and Esther might do it. Or the Judges chapter with the ONLY female Judge, Deborah.

  9.                 THE  SALMS
