  1. well if you like sports like me read theres usually biographies on players so find a player u like and read up on him/her ive been learning lots of things about my favorite atheletes o and dont read harry potter

  2. "the Bully" trust me it is going 2 be the best book u ever read

  3. Catcher in the Rye, by JD Salinger

    Always a classic!

  4. harry freakin potter....

  5. Twilight is an amazing series, and Harry Potter's a classic; everyone seems to have mentioned those two series, so I thought I'd agree. And someone also suggested Ender's Game--that's one of my favorite books in the world.

"Peeps" by Scott Westerfield is a good book about a parasite that turns its host into a vampire; the author has a great sense of humor, but keeps it real, too. The host either becomes an infected or a carrier.

"Maximum Ride" by James Patterson is one of the most brilliant books I've ever read--it's fast-paced, hilarious, and it really gets you involved with the characters. It's about a group of kids who were tested upon and made into human-bird hybrids, and live on the run from creatures made especially to hunt them down, called Erasers.

"The Thief Lord," about two boys who run away to Venice and get swept up in the legends that surround it, and "Inkheart," about a girl whose father can read things to life from books, are both by Cornelia Funke, and are really good reads; both have a *lot* to do with fantasy.

"The Sacred Sacrament" by Sherryl Jordan is also an amazing work; it's about a boy who dreams of becoming a healer and grows into the man who leads his world to the brink of understanding. (It left me heartbroken.)

Lemony Snicket's "A Series of Unfortunate Events" is always a good read. It's so clever and amusing, but bittersweet, too; its about three very intelligent orphans who are moved from guardian to guardian because of their uncle's determination to lay hand to the enormous fortune left to them.

"Lion Boy" by Zizou Corder, is entrancing. It's about a boy who, after an incident as a baby, can speak to cats. When his parents, both of whom are brilliant scientists, disappear, he goes after them with the help of however many felines he may need.

Tamora Pierce has written a lot of books, mostly about female warriors or mages. But her "Circle of Magic" series may interest you. It's about four kids--a street-rat (my favorite!), a noble, a Trader and a merchant--who meet when a mage gathers them under one roof and tells them they have magic. This is one of the best quartets I have ever read; its near and dear to my heart. <3 The first book is called "Sandry's Book."

I'm looking at my book shelf right now, and I know I'll feel really stupid later, when I conveniently remember an amazing book that I don't have here. Oh, well. I really hope you'll check a few of these out!

  6. look around in the library and find the book with the best picture on the front and there you go

  7. Harry Potter

    Pendragon

    Keys To The kingdom

  8. harry potter , d**k francis (british authors are always great)

  9. Try the book Enders Game

    it's a classic and I'm pretty sure I loved it when I was 14

Although I may have been younger so don't get mad if you find it too young or something ;)

  10. "The Outsiders", its a very good adventure book, a bit less on the fantasy side though. As far as I remember its about a kid name Ponyboy who gets involved in some classic gang-like activities and ends up on the run. It's a must read for teenagers, very emotional and its one of the only books that will never stop being called "cool".

  11. Fantasy and Adventure?

Sounds like you'd LOVE Harry Potter. Although I'm sure you've probably already read those by now.

Lord of the Rings Series is good.

    Eragon is a good one.

The Lightning Thief is GREAT and has a few sequels.

Try them out! I think you'd like them all :)

Oh yea, and everyone is saying the Twilight series. Personally, my favortie series EVER, but it also has romance, and I don't know if a guy would go for that.

    But good luck!

  12. The Twilight Series EVERYONE I SWEAR LOVES those books!!

    Good Luck!

  13. Well, if you like romance, hehe, and vampires and werewolves, the twilight saga is for you. But other than that mostly boys still read harry potter and captian underwear or somin like that.

  14. twilight series!

and the tomorrow series...i think u will like that it's awsum!

  15. the bible seems to be very interesting, though it's not fantasy. It's a true story, history, adventure, and prophecies. why not try the purpose driven life by rick warren?
