Classic books like Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, Middlemarch, Crime and Punishment, Rebecca, Catch-22, the Catcher in teh Rye, Hound of the Baskervilles, Uncle Tom's Cabin, etc.

I'm still outgrowing jeans, but:

1. Catch-22, 1984, and A Hundred Years of Solitude (much better in Spanish, if you know the language and knowing the history of Colombia is useful to understand the allegorical nature of the book.)

2. I Robot by Isaac Asimov

1. I like Neil Gaiman's stuff- Good Omens, Stardust, Anansi Boys.  Sort of fantasy, but funny, with an edge.  Just entertaining, I think.
