  2. Try:

The Mediator series by Meg Cabot. Lots of romance but also a lot of ************ action!

Eragon by Christopher Paolini and his other two books Eldest and Brisingr.

    The Primrose Way

A Great and Terrible Beauty and it's sequel(s)

Of course, you should check out the Twilight series. It's awesome!

  3. romantic why romantic books suck you should read murder mystery's there way better. oh and all romantic books are girly.

  4. Read Twilight, it's life changing and epic. Also her book the host is amazing and more mature and less girly.

Kiss and Tell ~ Alain de Botton

    Love Letter ~ Cathleen Schine

Isabel's Bed & The Way Men Act ~ Elinor Lipman

    Conjugal Bliss ~ John Nichols

Also try Kingsley Amis, Tim Sandlin, Nick Hornby (High Fidelity, About a boy) Ken Follett (Hornet Flight,A Dangerous Fortune, and Lie Down With Lions.)

Also it's a little girly but "the truth about forever" by sarah dessen is really good.

If I remember anymore I'll put them up.

Also about the comment 3 below me, alot of those books aren't very good, some aren't even very romantic, just because the person wastes time naming off some books, doesn't mean there good, make sure you go to amazon and read what the books about, and what the rating for it is, if it's less then 3 stars, don't waste your time.

  5. -Great Expectations -  different from the movie but still basically about romance.

-1984 (George Orwell)-  wow. this book is crazy.

-The phantom of the Opera- great book. a little different from the movie (newer one)

those are just a few. try going to your local library and looking in the romance section or asking the librarian for some suggestions

  6. you should read the Time Traveler's Wife. Its a bestselling book with the most amazing love story. My bf and I read it together and we both loved it. Half the story is from the girl's point of view and half from the guys. Its even being made into a major motion picture.

  7. There are

Power of Five Series-Anthony Horowitz, Mystery and Adventure

    Howl's Moving Castle-Dyanna wynne Jones,Romance,Adventure

The Discworld series-Terry Pratchett, All categories

His Dark Material Series-Phillip Pullman, All categories

Muddle Earth-Paul Stewart, and Chris Riddel, Comedy and Adventure

Far Flung Adventures series-Paul Stewart and Chris Riddel, Comedy and Adventure

Edge Chronicles-Paul Stewart and Chris Riddel, Comedy and Adventure

And that is about it.Those are my favorites. You should also try the following authors.

    Dyanna Wynne Jones

    Terry Pratchett

    Tim Bowler

    Phillip Pullman

    Anthony Horowitz

    Paul Stewart

    Chris Riddel

  8. The Twilight series is great, and if you like those, check out the "Blue Blood" series and the The Gemma Doyle Trilogy

  9. a classic staple like catcher in the rye, and try checking on your local thrift store. you would be surprised!
