  1. the outsiders is one of my favorites (the movie is good too)

also the catcher in the rye

  2. They are kind of old but the Everworld series is really good, its kind of a fantasy type genre in which normal kids have to solver problems and get out of hairy situations. I read them all as a kid.

  3. J. Meade Falkner's excellent, gripping story about a teenager with a massive problem: "Moonfleet".   Read it aloud to friends, to family.  One of the best novels for young readers ever written.

"The Poisonwood Bible" by Barbra Kingslover.  Now there is a story about teenagers with real problems.

Seriously, these are great stories, full of suspense and chills.

"You Can't Get There From Here" by Tod Strasser.  A story of street kids.   Check out these books in your local library.

  4. Sonlight.com

You can get the book list for 7th grade and pick and choose what you think will be good.

  5. The Outsiders by R.L. Stine is good.

  6. well my fave book is called The Andromeda Strain by Michael Crichton. Here is what the back of the book says. The United States government is given a warning by the pre-eminent biophysicists in the country: current sterilization procedures applied to returning space probes may be inadequate to guarantee uncontaminated re-entry to the atmosphere. Two years later, seventeen satellites are sent into the outer fringes of space to "collect organisms and dust for study." One of them falls to earth, landing in a desolate area of Arizona. Twelve miles from the landing site, in the town of Piedmont, a shocking discovery is made: the streets are littered with the dead bodies of the town's inhabitants, as if they dropped dead in their tracks.

i just grad. from seventh grade and its still my fave book. they have movies too, but read the book FIRST!!! hope you read it and like it!!

  7. Shug, Dairy Queen, Twilight series, etc

  8. The Outsiders -which is by S.E. Hinton, *not* R.L. Stine (who writes young adult horror) is really good. Driving with Dead People is really good, but maybe a little too deep for 7th grade. I recall Tiger Eyes by Judy Blume being good. I've also heard- but never read my self- that You Don't Know Me by David Klass, and The Rules of Survival by Werlin are good.

  9. Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger. I havent gotten a chance to read it yet but all my friends recomended it.  I would also recomend The Adventures of Tom Sawyer or The Adventures of Huckleberryfin by Mark Twain. Both great books. Another book is The Outsiders by RL Stein. Read it last year and really enjoyed it. Lord of the Flies by William Golding is a good book but some find it to be a little disturbing.

  10. im thinking contraband although it has foul language

  11. Inkheart, Inkspell, and in the fall the third one comes out...Inkdeath

  12. I got three good books !

Loser : Hard for me to explain with out spoilers !
