I'm 15 year old girl that is just starting track this summer. Is there a good brand of spikes out there that I should get? I have no idea what to look for! Thanks

  1. It kind of depends on what events you are running.  If it is just running or running and jumping, I would reccomend Nike's but if you are only doing jumps, I would reccomend these:

    Reebok Global LJ/PV Track Spikes

Also, here is a great website for getting your shoes inexpensively and quickly.  I have never used this site myself, but I have heard great things from people who have used it.  Hope this helps: http://www.firsttothefinish.com/index.as...

  2. Nike

  3. You cant go wrong with Nike. Some people have brand preferences, but the shoes wont really be all that different.

  4. Both for my spikes and training shoes I swear by Saucony.  They are a reliable brand and make comfortable shoes.  I would suggest going to your local running store and they will help you chose the right spikes.

^here are five really good track spikes. which one you get depends on if you're a sprinter or long-distance runner. for long distance you want spikes with more support.

    ^these are great mid-distance spikes.

i have these, except in blue. i love them, and they really help me run my best! =)

  6. i have asics and they work really well. But spikes differentiate it depends what event youre running. try eastbay.com---its amazing or go to metro run and walk if you have any near you.
