Good brands of makeup?

Question

So I need makeup that I can buy at a store. I have eyeliner and makeup and all that, and I use it every day. But I want stuff that is actually worth the price.

Can anyone tell me what kinds?

I need extremely black eyeliner that won't run, face powder stuff, maybe some eyeshadow, and lipstick that lasts all day, and mascara that works like a miracle.

Even if you can provide a little bit, that's still good. but be a tidbit specific.

I use makeup, and it works fine for me... But I want better stuff, you know?

The mascara miracle to me is Chanel. It's outstanding. Bobbi Brown for the liquid eyeliner, stays on and goes on beautifully. Bobbi Brown lipstick stays on very well. Mac happens to dry out my lips - but many people love it. Chanel lipgloss is another little miracle - colors are so s**y. Face powder, Bobbi Brown because it's natural-looking. I don't like the caked-on look. Good luck!

Bobbi Brown Gel Liner in Black Ink or MAC Fluidline in Black Track

Artistry. Top 2 Best seller WORLDWIDE, and is categorized as Upscale right next to Channel, Estee Lauder and others.  It is better tho, because it is Certified Organic (Botanical) and it ACTUALLY DOES WHAT IT SAYS IT DOES =o)

This is the only brand of makeup and skin care I wear and recommend my clients.  Ive had 100% satisfacion.  All the makeup is actually good for you and especially the lip colors will hydrate your lips and ease the appearance of lines.

mac is perfect for eyeliner and eyeshadow and lipstick ist runs about 12-16 dollars but worth the price .....clinique is perfect for  face makeup because the pick your shade and makeup according to the dryness/oily-ness of your skin thats aboujt 15-20 dollars -  lancome is a mascara genius its about 18-20 dollars but everythings well worth it

I am a HUGE proponent of Sephora...and anything MAC carries.

My favorites would be:

Foundation: I don't use foundation, but I LOVE STILA'S

Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 - kind of has a shimmer to it and it's like a really light foundation. $32

Powder: MAC Select Sheer Pressed Powder and/or Select Sheer Loose Powder depending on which kind you prefer. Both rock. $21 each

Black Liner: Urban Decay Liquid Liner in color Oil Slick. Once it's on, it stays put. $18

Bronzer/Blush: Dallas by Benefit Cosmetics. Not too brown, not too pink (for me anyway).  $28 and it lasts FOREVER. Seriously.

I don't generally wear lipstick, but LOVE the MAC Lustreglass lipglosses of theirs. They also have a Gloss Coat you can put on top to extend the wear of any lip product. It's $14...same price as their Lustreglass.

Mascara: Plush Lash or Pro Lash by MAC are both favorites of mine. They don't flake either. $12 each.

Benefit is an amazing. I use the mascara everyday. And the eye shadows unbelievable.

I also love Clinique and Origins for Skin Care.

they have the absolute BEST stuff, and not just for make up either (face wash, ect)

also try MAC, clinique, NARS, estee lauder, ect
