  6. Here is an excellent recipe that my family loves!

    Casserole Brunch

    6 slices bread, coarsely torn

1 lb. sausage, cooked and drained

    1 c. shredded cheddar cheese

    6 med. eggs

    2 c. milk

    1t. salt

    1/4 t. pepper

Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease 9x13 pan. Place bread in bottom of pan; sprinkle with sausage and cheese. Beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper in med. bowl with wire whisk. Pour over bread mixture in pan. Bake 40-45 min or until set in center and lightly browned.

You can also make omelets and fill them with whatever you want. You can also make biscuits and gravy using regular gravy or chocolate gravy. Chocolate gravy may sound gross, but it's honestly very, very good. Here's a recipe for chocolate gravy.

    Aunt Dean's Chocolate Gravy

    2 c. water

    1 c. milk or less

    1/2 c. cocoa

    1/2 c. flour

    1 1/2 c. sugar

Bring water to boil. Mix all ingredients together except milk. Add to boiling water. Brint to boil again. Add milk and continue to cook a few minutes to desired thickness. Wonderful over hot biscuits. Yummy!

Here's a breakfast my kids love.

    Quick Cinnamon Toast

1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened

    1/4 c. brown sugar, packed

    1/4 t. nutmeg

    1 t. cinnamon

Beat all ingredients until fluffy. Refrigerate in a covered jar. Spread on hot toast or muffins or biscuit.

    Hope these help.
