  1. Buy sony t-200.It has 3"LCD screen,8mp lens which can make poster size printout without losing quality.

  2. camera would be the something like the Nikon D80 or possibly the Nikon D300 and slotted between them would be the Canon EOS 40D. The price range will run from around $900 for the D80 to $1500 for the EOS 40D and nearly 2,000 for the D300. If you are really adventurous, then you can go gor the Canon 5D, but it is $2,500 (prox.)

Which is the best? Well Nikon users are envious of the 40D and Canon owners are drooling over the D300. But, bodies are only a small part of the camera equation. The big part to these systems are the available lenses, flashes and other accessories. I picked Canon because of the great lenses available for novice users when I started and I was able to grow into more professional equipment over time. Nikon has similar options now as well.

On the prosumer end, Canon has the Rebel series of cameras and Nikon has just released the D60.

All are good cameras and most of the decision depends on where you want to be with your photography hobby in a few years. Good Luck.

    Good luck with your decision.

  3. Cannon,Niccon, codac are  good .I suggest to opt for Cannon. Before purchase you may visit their website . For learning Photography, you will learn with gaining experience. practical learning is always better than thweoritical one. Theory can provide you some technical matters only, subject of the photography is your choice "subject " is the key of good photography. You may collect a book of internationally acclaimed photographer Raghu Roy's book.

  4. Start of by getting a decent cheap compact camera, get out there and take as many shots as you can, then, if you feel you really like photography after a few months, get a nice DSLR. This way, you'll save a lot of money, and your skills will evolve nicely.

Hope this helps and I can recommend the nikon D40, but with a lens with a better zoom range for wildlife etc
