  1. CAnon EOS XSI/450D..good and practical camera.

it has Live View function.. just like taking pictures just viewing thru your LCD.. it's very practical..if it's very crowded in front of you,you just have to raise your camera and view the subject in the 3" LCD and capture it.. No need to stand up high and focus the subject in a viewfinder.

  2. You can have a look at Nikon D60 SLR Camera with 18-55mm Lens.It is a great camera..I love the colors that the D60 takes compared to canon's 400D.

A decent deal for it is $650 instead of $750.

  3. I would definitely recommend going with the Nikon D40. If you get the D40 from Amazon, it is only $450, with a 18-55mm lens (an excellent lens), and because it is so cheap, it would give you some extra cash to buy zoom lenses, extra flashes, etc.

    See: http://www.nikond40.ca/

The D40 is a great camera to start with. Go for it!

Any other questions, feel free to send me a message.

  4. Not quite about the camera, but rather, the lens. Large aperture (to let more light in)--also means expensive (to make).

  5. You'd better call and find out if they allow cameras.  If not, they will take your camera and you will never see it again, so be careful.
