Good camera for shooting sporting events/concerts etc?

Question

I'm looking for a good digital camera with a high speed shutter good for outdoor and indoor sporting events and concerts. I'd love any kind of SLR cam, but most concerts won't allow them.

Right now, I have a Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-H2 and it's pretty great but it doesn't do so hot in low light settings.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

get the canon SD750 digital elph or a cheaper one ( also just as good ) you could get the sanyo xacti vpc e760

I use a Nikon D300 and D3 with appropriate lenses for shooting both sports and concerts, although the lighting is very different in the two cases.

Sports the 24-70 mm f/2.8 and 400 mm f/2.8 are my primary lenses

Concerts the 24-70 f/2.8 and 12-24 f/4 are attached to the cameras
