Good canadian universities for zoology?

What are some good canadian universities that offer zoology and animal biology programs?Is university of western ontario and queens good?

Biology programs in Canada correlate pretty closely to their overall reputations.  Maclean's Rankings are a terrible judge, but still represents a general opinion rather accurately (so any schools ranked high in general will also be good in biology).  Any schools ranked in the top third I'd say are good choices.  So Queen's and Western are both fine choices.  

If you have something more specific in mind, certain schools do hold specialities.  U of T obviously dominates the medical sciences (including related animal science), and York has been building on that too.  Guelph has always had strong agricultural-focused programs.  Queen's has a biological station that you might take note of (QUBS), though many universities use their facilities.  UBC has a great program overall and specialties in forestry.

In any case, I suggest you choose base on your general personal impression of the school after a visit and not their reputation.  For example, I would personally never attend UT for undergrad because their class sizes are just too big in my opinion.

University of Toronto and Guelph (in Ontario) are some of the best places in the world to study Zoology.

Unlike person above me I do not believe, I know.

The University of Toronto would be the best if all you care about is gaining knowledge of zoology, but if cost is also a big thing for you I'd suggest Guelph as it is still a WONDERFUL university with less people and cost is less. The lodging of both are great and both get great reviews.
