Good car for teenager?

Question

I'm about to get my license and my parents will help out with buying the car. I think I want to keep it under 15k, I would like a car that looks good. I'm definitely thinking used but my dad wants it under 30,000 miles. Anybody know any good options? I've been looking and I like the Chevrolet Equinox, Pontiac G6, and Volkswagen Jetta- any opinions?

get a nissan sentra spec V you can get a 06 with under 30k miles for under 15k it has 175 stock horsepower is a very sporty car and comes with a fun 6speed manual tranny. I wouldnt get any american cars they try to cut too many corners to save a buck especially when there losing 35 billion a year i just dont trust them anymore. a VW wouldnt be bad get a VR6 :) hope you find the car of your dreams

Ford Focus (any type), they are safe sporty and not badly priced. I have one, Im not a teen but I would buy it for my child when they reached the proper age. Good Gas milage and you can get them for WAY under 15K.. cool little cars.

mazda miata, its a 2 seater so you wont get suckered into driving more than your limit of passangers, its amazing on gas, and if you throw a body kit on it it looks beautiful.
