Good car magazines?

Question

I want to get my boyfriend a subscription to a car magazie for his birthday but I know absolutely nothing about cars so obviously I dont know anything about which car magazines are good. He really likes reading the "build your own" stuff and is into old cars (owns a 63 ford galaxie). any suggestions?

depends on his taste if he likes modified cars go for modified car mags also a good magazine i subscribe too is top gear magazine its full of very useful info as well as news and reviews of new cars. if he got specific make of car he likes you could subscribe to there magazine which could also include online membership and notice of events happening. it all depends on his taste if there is a specific taste of his im sure there will be a magazine out there hope this helps.

For him, definitely Hot Rod magazine.  It has great articles, pictures, and how to's.

If he's interested in new cars, Car and Driver is my favorite, followed by automobile and motor trend.

Hot rod magazine is the best. They only do older cars and give how to built it yourself tips. This is the ultimate magazine. Its also the most popular, im sure this is what everyone is going to put. Above is the their website. Lucky b*****d has a great girlfriend.
