It depends on what you are looking for. A Honda or Toyota is the best pick for reliability but they are not the most "hip" looking vehicles. If you whant a little more style then the Ford Mustang is a great pick.

Old BMWs form way way back in the 1982 to 1988 years.  Very reliable low cost and still proving this year after year.  Time and mileage has no effect on them so far..

i would look for something with a 4 cyl in an auto.

i would recommend a honda accord, toyota corolla or camry or a nissan altima.
