  1. take out the trash, do the dishes, keep room clean, setting the table.  maybe helping you with things like vacuuming and dusting.

  2. taking out the trash

    cleaning dishes

    cleaning rooms

    laundry

    clean up after diner

  3. i think if the children are young the chores can include making there bed and tidying there room, but when they get older they shouldnt be payed for that. Doing dishes once or twice a week, i dont think too often is fair because after school a child has homework, they want some fun and than there off to bed, so not too often with the dishes. Maybe helping you in the garden like wedding, raking etc.Sweeping the floor and taking the bins out, including out to the street on bin collecting day.

  4. Cleaning their room, putting their toys away, putting their clean clothes away, putting dirty clothes in the hamper ( laundry basket). Helping mom or dad in the garden, ( pulling weeds) setting the table for meals.

  5. It's a very bad idea to tie allowance to chores! Kids should do chores, aside from keeping their own rooms decent, simply because they are members of the family. So, depending upon their ages, they should be helping out daily.

For allowance, children just need money to burn. Again, depending upon age. Regular allowance around 10 - before that, just a few dollars here and there when they want something.

  6. dishes cleaning there rooms washing windows vacuuming sweeping dusting and laundry

  7. well i am a child and so i know what chores will keep your children from becoming mad... well washing dishes is fine.. it's actually a little relaxing, so is making the beds in everyones rooms.. that makes me feel better. sometimes if you have a pool cleaning the pool regularly is a great chore... not cleaning the house like vacuuming.. i find the noise annoying and it makes me feel like throwing the vacuume out the door. dusting is good, oh and folding the laundry

  8. Little kids I give $1 a day, equally $7 a week. Their jobs are to be generally nice, if something major happens that day, they lose their money, also they take turns getting the mail, they make their bed everyday and based on how long they do their homework they get an extra dollar.

  9. Washing the dishes and taking out the trash also cleaning the house you get money for doing those chores:)

  10. I didn't get an allowance for doing household chores.  My parents always said that was the responsibility of everyone in the house and no one deserved to be paid for doing it.  Instead, my allowance was based on my grades in school.  My mom was big into reading so we would get extra money for reading books.  Fiction books didn't pay as much as non-fiction and we had to tell my mom about the book before she paid us.  This is what I decided to do with my kids also.

  11. These are the things that I got an allowance for as a kid:

    Making the bed/cleaning bedroom

    Doing the dishes

    Folding laundry

    Setting the table

I also helped with our garden and fed our animals but I lived on a farm.

  12. dishes, vacuum, dust, clean kitchen or living room, wash clothes or put them away, sweep, anything.

  13. I think th best are probably well this is what i had to do ,

Va-***, dishes, dust , laundry and more

i got paid about 10 dollars just make sure they do there chores!

  14. I know the most common chores I had to do:

Set the table, take out the trash, fold clothes, and wash dishes.

  15. Right now, my children aren't old enough to do chores, but when we were younger we only got paid an allowance for chores that weren't typically asked of us. (Which were dishes, laundry and tidy rooms). We did get to earn money for vacuuming, raking leaves, cleaning up the doggy-doo, when we got old enough mowing the lawn and cleaning out the rabbit cage.
