  1. I don't know what you consider "too easy" and "too hard;"

these pieces fall about halfway between Bach's Anna Magdelena [e.g. "Minuet in G"] and Claude Debussy's "Claire de Lune;" the top of the list is the easier pieces and their gradually more difficult as it goes down

Josh MacDowell's Woodland Sketches such as "To a Wild Rose"

Grieg's shorter songs -- such as "Song of the North"

Schumann's    Kinderscenen --it's a series of pieces sometimes called "Scenes from childhood"

Erik Satie's Gymnopedies -- they're post-impressionist pieces that are easier than a lot of other relatively modern pieces

Andrew Lloyd Webber's music--especially from Phantom of the Opera

some of Tchaikovsky's Seasons --a series of twelve pieces; some of them a little difficult but most of them aren't too hard

These are some of my favorite pieces in that range; I hope you like them

  2. I use the Amsco classical fake book. Traumerei, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, and all the rest are my favorites. If you are familiar with the original arrangements, you can improvise without a close reading of the accomp.

  3. you should try a sonatina, preferably bach or clementi. it'll give you good  experience for baroque music, and it is not too hard if  you do it in small incroments. or try "Ivan's song,"by Kachaturian.

  4. look up the music from silent hill. gorgeous piano peices and easy to play

  5. Check out:

Fantasie-Impromptu in C sharp minor by Chopin

It's a really beautiful piece. It's impressive, but I don't think it's ridiculously difficult. It's a lot of finger work and timing though. And you might want to purchase a music book of Chopin's waltzes. They're all amazing.

    Or:

    Rondo Alla Turca by Mozart

Also impressive but not too hard. I don't know what level you're on, but this song seems good because I've seen lots of different ages perform it. Mozart also did a piece with variations on the tune Twinkle Twinkle Little Star that you might like.

Also check out Muzio Clementi's Sonatinas. They'll exercise your fingers and get you ready to play Sonatas.

One of my favorite pieces is Clair de Lune by Debussy. That song is very enjoyable to play and listen to.

And you might like J.S. Bach's inventions. They are really fun to play.

    I hope I helped!

  6. fur elsie

  7. BACH

  8. I've played the piano for 6 years. and most times if you see a hard song more than likely it has an easy version. you can get the easier version of entertainer. i dont know how good that is because i play the regular. you can also find out at a music store. like moores music store. or look online. most songs do have easier versions.
