Good colleges for aspiring Foreign relations officers (diplomats, ambassadors, etc)?

I'm looking toward going into the foreign service (to be a diplomat/ambassador/etc). I'm looking for a good college to start out at. I don't have the best grades, so some of the schools with more famous international relations majors (john hopkins, georgetown, etc) are very unlikely to accept me. any ideas?
