ok, so i have a typical night guard that i got from the dentist because of my teeth grinding. but everytime i use it, when i wake up my lips are cracked and dry and REALLY REALLY sore, so ive just stopped using it all together, which is bad...of coarse. ive tried using chapstick but it doesnt help at all. doe sanyone know of any comfortable nightguard that maybe arent as bulky in the front area cuz im pretty sure that would make alot of difference. or if not does anyone know of anyway i could get it to not do that to my lips when i wake up in the morning? thanks

  1. try vasilene

  2. You might need to go back to the dentist for an adjustment on the night guard. When I first started wearing mine it took some time to get them comfortable. Maybe try wearing them every other day. Eventually your teeth will mold to the guard especially if you grind your teeth.
