Good cookout ideas??

Im having my first cookout this Saturday. I don't have many friends, and don't think many people will show up. But just in case.....what are some ideas to have a great cookout. What are some yummy, fun, but easy food ideas. What are some cool drinks. What are some fun games. I was thinking of having a water balloon fight, because we're still kinda young and my friends said they'd enjoy that. but in case it rains, what are some fun inside games. and what are some tasty recipes for food (and drinks). please give me details instead of directing me to another website! thanks for all your help!

try making pollo or carne asada. You can buy it marinated at some places then all you have to do is grill it or you can buy the meat and marinate yourself. Then buy all the fixings for fajitas and throw your tortillas on the grill to warm. Very easy and everyone loves.

nothing says good times than a beer can chicken. but you might want ot have some dogs or burgers (classic grilling food). Here is something I did one time. I had everything from burgers to fish, veggies to fruit and was grilling up a storm. what ever I served is what they ate and because there were so many choices every one got something different. As for games, water balloon fight  sounds like a blast. If the game is called due to rain y'all can play party games like scene it or  taboo. my fav is monopoly but no one can beat me so they get bored easily. Also a great thing to do is have a poker tournament. 5 dollar buy in gets you 1000 dollars in chips winner takes all.

Well I don't know about the activities.  When I have a cookout it is usually because my firends and I share the same enjoyment...watching the race or watching movies together, or just playing some tunes and relaxing on the back deck....that sort of thing.  

I love grilled foods. One of  favorite being steak and corn on the cob both on the grill. If you do the corn add a little chipotle pepper to the butter for it.  Get some Ben And Jerry's Peach Cobbler ice cream and make peach shakes.

Instead of steak, mariate some boneless chicken b*****s in italian dressing overnight before you grill it.  Or since there are many recipes out there get a marinade you think sounds great.
