  1. Ya iit was pretty good

  2. That was pretty good!

I would just say that you need to reach more when you jump. Give the horse its head and release. I also noticed that it sometimes took a while for you to switch your lead. Just remember to do that quickly.

I didn't see any problems with this but just remember hands up, shoulders back, b***s out!

  3. well your hands look like they are resting on yout horse's neck and when you go over a jump your not going into two point your just lifting yourself up. also you dont reach when you jump. if you just keep your hands in the same place you can pop your horse in the mouth after the jump which they dont like.  so you should lift your hands up to where your belly button is, and also you need more bend in your elbows. your shoulders look fine but i thought i saw you curl over one of the jumps. but before the jumps especially before the first one you lean forward way to far before.

  4. lean BACK! HANDS FOREWARD

  5. good course first of all, next MAKE SURE your horse switches to the right lead because it can really s***w up the jumping if they are doing and ouside inside course and they are going to the left and have a right lead then the jump will be "off", next try to slow down on the corners and regain your self and the horse try to collect your selves so that your not making it looked rushed, and try not to move your hands sooo much when you are trotting you just keep moving them up and down and it makes it look bad, when you jump dont stick your butt out too far, and get your hands OFF her neck when your going over the jump and NEVER trot the last jump!!!! haha other than that you are a really good and pretty rider! hope i helped!

  6. I mean, I really liked it. Your position is lovely - the only thing I would point out is that you don't release too much. I mean, I'm not sure if your horse needs an automatic release and that why you were doing it, but just pointing it out :) Other than the breaking to trot, I think it was a pretty lovely course.

  7. As an instructor and (sometimes) judge, here is my opinion:

Your horse's head is too high which is something that you can work on with flatwork at home.

Your horse is not getting his lead changes which is a BIG deal and is definetly a class decider.  If he can't do his changes for some reason work on trying to get him to land on a specific lead and work on keeping him balanced around the corner so his incorrect lead isn't so obvious.

He is also picking up speed throughout the course, really use your corners to slow down and restabilize your horse.  Stretch tall and go deep in the corner - really use your inside leg to rebalance.

Finally, I noticed that you trotted the last jump.  This is not something you would EVER do in a hunter course.  You sometimes see this in a "Handy Hunter" class (which is NOT something I would recommend for your horse at this point) or in an equitation class.  If you trot on a hunter course you will automatically get a score of 50 which is not very good.

Also, you didn't say what height you will be showing at.  You course started with Xrail and ended with a 2'3" jump... These mistakes are all perfectly fine for Xrail level, but none are really acceptable for a 2'3" horse or rider.

p.s. I did not look at your equitation much or comment on that since you asked for it's qualities as a hunter course.  If you want me to watch it again and comment on equitation I can.
