Good credit card for an 18 yr. old?

I need a credit card so I can purchase things online safely. Any suggestions on good cards with low rates and decent rewards? Thanks.

  1. Discover Student Card if your in school or the AMEX Blue card.  Check out applyfastbankcards.com they pay you to use their site to apply for credit cards.  My reccommendation is to compare the cards on their site, find what you want, apply, then get paid!  Good luck:)

  3. I got my card when I was your age. I signed up for a citi cards credit card,but there are many good ones to choose from for students or people with new credit. My first card I was able to get 1000 dolar credit limit.

  5. Look for a site that will allow you to compare offers from all credit card companies/issuers. I've always found this site to be helpful, you can browse by rewards then see which company has the lowest interest rate and fees. It's great especially if you're just starting out because you can look at everything in one site.
