  1. Accuracy in a cyclometer depends upon the correctness of the number you enter for the wheel's circumference. It's that simple.

    I've had many cyclometers and they have all worked well and reliably. There is nothing that makes one brand better than another. Just look for a good, readable display with the information that you want.

    There are some potential issues with wireless cyclometers. One of my riding partners has a wireless unit that's a different brand than mine. Both of us get weird numbers when we ride past a certain place on one of our favorite routes. That's just the nature of the beast. If that troubles you, stay with a wired version.

  2. You could go with Shimano Flight Deck or Campagnolo Ergobrain depending on the gruppo you have. I'm sure Sram will be out with one soon as well. The heart rate moniter will more than likely be separate.

  3. I have used an older version of this one for years now.  it works and is fairly inexpensive.
