Well, I teach morning and afternoon sessions of Bilingual (Span./Eng.) PreKinder 4 in Texas, and had 22 kids show up with their parents  in the morning when supposedly I only had 17 registered!   5 were crying when the parents left--kicking and crying.  The afternoon class went much better--19 students with their parents when only 17 were registered.  Only 1 child cried, and only for  a 1/2 hour!  Everything got straightened out and all was well.  A pretty good first day of school for 4-year-olds!
