Good digital video cam?

Hi, I'm a student and was wondering what's a good non-sony brand digital video cam that's easy to use, durable, and long-lasting, and runs on SD cards as well as a big internal memory.

Suggestions and websites would be welcome

  2. Id reccomend a Canon powershot s5 iS, its probably the best camera I have ever purchased, great quality, not too heavy, everything is good about it.
