I am somewhat familiar with cooking chicken and seafood..but not so much with pork and beef..

Also I dont really want to fry anything..

I was thinking lemon pepper chicken but I have never made it before!

I would like dinner ideas (at least 2 side dishes and a main/meat dish)

For dessert I am buying chocolate dipped strawberries and pretzels and stuff from a local chocolate store..

Thanks in advance

  1. wow. one month? and your going to all this trouble for her? i wish i had a boyfriend like you! you make mine look like a total ******! :) i think you should make some kind of chicken that you have made before, not something you have made specially for her before, though. if she likes green beans do that and maybe like, i dont know, maybe a small salad? i hope it helps! and i hope you two have a great time :) peacee.

  2. my boyfriend and i both LOVE sushi, so for our 6 month anniversary, he hired a very expensive sushi chef (to close down his restaurant for a night!) and come to our home to make sushi for us right there!  my bf was even able to get the guy to cancel a wedding reception he had that night lol.  imagine how the bride felt, but HAHA sucks to be YOU lol (to the bride) lol.  my whole point about dinner, was maybe you can hire a caterer or a chef to make it special for her.

  3. Hot steamy sexual position.

  4. make something that you are familiar with. something simple like breaded chicken breast with mashed potatoes, vegetables and sauce (gravy or something from a packet), its simple and proper,

    also a nice white wine

also remember it is the effort that counts

  5. bloody mary shrimp cocktail is excellent and have done it myself.

    1/2

pounds (about 20) cooked peeled deveined medium shrimp, thawed if frozen

    1/8

    cup tomato juice

    1/8

    cup vodka, if desired

    dash of red pepper sauce

    pinch of sugar

    dash of celery salt

    1/2

    tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

    1/4

    cup cocktail sauce

    1

    tablespoon finely chopped green olives

Arrange shrimp in single layer in rectangular glass or plastic dish.

Heat tomato juice, vodka and pepper sauce to boiling in 1-quart saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir in sugar; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in celery salt and parsley; pour over shrimp. Cover and refrigerate 2 to 3 hours.

Mix cocktail sauce and olives; pour into small serving bowl. Remove shrimp from marinade with slotted spoon; arrange on serving platter. Serve shrimp with sauce and toothpicks.

    Makes 2 servings
