Good ear-plugs for flying?

Ok, I can't stand the noise in planes when I fly (the engine is loud).... it drives me nuts, plus, all the children in the plane are running and screaming and I just can't hear that.

So before I freak out and stop flying and start walking/swimming - Which Ear Plugs I should use to hear nothing in the flight?

Two things:

**Not expensive.

**Should be able to use it multiple-times.

  1. ear plugs are all the same the in the ear type come in foam or plastic.  If I was going to use any type I'd use the foam type you can get them at any DIY store and they usually come in bags of many and don't cost that much (at least where I live).  When using the in the ear type the thing to remember is that there will be a pressure differential between your inner ear and the cabin.  On departure it won't matter too much as the higher pressure area will be behind the plug and will force it out a little to equalise the pressure.  On arrivals it is the reverse as the plane descends the higher pressure area will be on the outside of your ear pushing in the plug slightly.  In this case just pull the plug out just a smidge to equalise the pressure.

I like the noise canceling over the ear type of headphones they are a little more expensive BUT at least you will be able to listen to your music and the movie if it is a long flight without cranking the volume.

  3. non expensive after all you do have more to spend except for that
